Torremanzanas is a small, but busy village, only 30 minutes from the Alicante coastline.  The small and friendly village is in a beuatiful mountain area.  It is typically Spanish, and though small, boasts a 3* hotel, a fonda, approx. 12 other bars/restaurants, 2 butchers, 2 bakers, 2 banks, 2 mini-markets, hardware store, tobacconist, post office, town hall and cultural centre.

Also a very nice church is in the centre of the village. A very active market takes place each Sunday. There is a growing British community which merges successfully with the Spanish and a number of people of other nationalities.

Fiestas are very important in the village, so there is always an excuse for a celebration.
